I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Denver, CO with over 20 years of experience working with adults, adolescents, couples, and families across a variety of settings. I build on clients’ strengths and intuitive ways of learning, teaching practical strategies to improve how they think, feel, and act.
My approach is affirming and solution-focused. I encourage behaviors that move clients toward their goals and values. While my style is empathetic and supportive, I may also gently challenge perspectives and encourage new behaviors aligned with those goals and values.
Culture and context matter, and I am committed to supporting individuals from all backgrounds. Everyone is welcome.

About Me:
I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Kansas in 2000 and completed graduate school at the University of Colorado in 2006. Outside of my work, I enjoy playing music, a good book, or a stand-up comedy special. I spend much of my free time outdoors snowboarding, river surfing, skateboarding, and running.
A lifelong music fan, I enjoy everything from punk to classical. I value time with friends and family, including my two teenage children and my Golden Retriever, Lucky.
